The Accelerator for Women in Entrepreneurship program (AWE) began as a question at the organizational level: "why aren't there as many women starting technology-based businesses as men?"

​

Innovation Factory (iF) developed AWE to consist of workshops and networking opportunities.  The program reflects the current Canadian statistics on women in entrepreneurship, and addresses gender-related issues, challenges and opportunities for iF clients and women-led and / or founded companies.

​

The AWE Summit 2019 provided a full-day of programming for women and allies, featuring talks on gender diversity and inclusion in entrepreneurship, negotiation tactics, leadership, scaling up and funding for women.  Check out the video below for a recap of the Summit or head to our blog for an overview of the day.
